Helios 2 Series - 600w Half Body Red Light Therapy Device

I ordered the Helios 2 as a gift for my partner as she's wanted one for ages and picked this model out. The unit itself looks fine (it's not been used yet as her birthday isn't until the 27th December) but I was a bit surprised that it didn't come in a box other than the transit packaging. For something costing £400 this isn't great, so I've dropped a star for this reason

The red light panel is really well made. The light is powerful and very bright. No complaints at all and I would recommend to others.

I bought this device because I had read fairly extensively about the benefits of red light therapy. I thought I’d give it a go. I researched the various suppliers and chose this because it was British based and seemed to tick all the right boxes re wavelengths, construction etc. I wasn’t disappointed with the device, it is well made, substantial and has some useful additional items like a pulley for hanging the device on a wall or door. All good quality.
I hung the device from a door and used it from 18” away for 14 minutes a night before bed. I reckon that gave me a good dose of therapy but not too much.
I have been having problems with my lower back, hips, upper thighs and knees. All brought about through abusing the said body parts by building a garden room over the Summer, including a fair bit of kneeling and some heavy lifting. (I forget sometimes that I am now 72 years of age and not quite as strong or flexible as I was when I was 40). In one week of therapy I noticed quite a difference in the areas I was experiencing discomfort. The pain went away in my back, my muscles didn’t seem sore and my knees were much better. I was actually able to run upstairs again, which I’ve not been able to do for quite a while. Is it the red light therapy, or is it psychosomatic? I don’t know, but I aim a lot better. If it works do I care?
As an experiment I loaned the device to a neighbour who has a congenital foot problem which means he is in pain all the time. I admire the way he deals with it, and has dealt with it most of his life. He used it ever day for 10 minutes on his foot (18” away). He reports that the pain is much less and that there is a little more flexibility in his foot. Is it real or is it psychosomatic? He also reports sleeping better.
Incidentally, I seems to be having much more vivid dreams since starting this treatment. I always sleep well so no improvement there.
That’s my review. I’m cautiously optimistic that the therapy works, time will tell. I am pleased with the 600w device I purchased and think it is everything that it promised to be. If you want to try out the therapy this seems a good place to start.

I was really excited about getting a red light therapy device, and after extensive research and reading reviews, red light therapy UK came tops. I ordered and received in 2 days. After just my first use, I slept like a baby that night. Even when I had to get up, I dozed off straight away when I put my head back down. I'm using it for some shoulder pain I've had for a while, and even though it's early day's, I have a good feeling it'll improve. Also have to say that this is the most competitively priced red ight device I saw. I would highly recommend using red light therapy uk if you looking for quality red light devices.

Early days but I feel that the device has helped my ligament and joint pain. I have read up on the science and I feel confident that the Helios 2 will be a success. The company were quick on delivery and communicated well. Not the cheapest but probably the best.
